The Sittaford Mystery by Agatha Christie — 5🌟
Bad Luck and Trouble (Reacher #11) by Lee Child — 5🌟
The only two novels I enjoyed in 2023 were from my go-to authors for a fun time, Agatha Christie and Lee Child.
While The Sittaford Mystery by Agatha Christie gave me the perfect snow-bound whodunnit, Bad Luck and Trouble by Lee Child gave me a thrilling ride that had me cheering by the end.
Ps. I read the Lee Child book in preparation for Reacher season 2, and I am happy to say that, just like season 1, this season exceeded my expectations and was one hell of a watch! Super excited for season 3!
The Power of Positive Thinking by Norman Vincent Peale — 5🌟
Rules For A Knight by Ethan Hawke — 5🌟
While The Power of Positive Thinking by Norman Vincent Peale single-handedly changed the way I spoke to myself, Rules For A Knight by Ethan Hawke made my mind blow with its philosophical lessons that we all must know of.
The Vein of Gold by Julia Cameron — 5🌟
The Creative Act: A Way of Being by Rick Rubin — 4🌟
While The Vein of Gold by Julia Cameron is about your past is actually your vein of gold for your creativity, The Creative Act: A Way of Being by Rick Rubin is a book for all artists, in all stages of their creative journey, to understand what it really means to live a life as an artist.
Bittersweet by Susan Cain — 5🌟
Ten Arguments for Deleting Your Social Media Accounts Right Now by Jaron Lanier — 5🌟
While Bittersweet by Susan Cain, just like its predecessor Quiet, let me know that being different from the majority doesn't make me weak, Ten Arguments for Deleting Your Social Media Accounts Right Now by Jaron Lanier made me realise how toxic my relationship is with social media.
