Yes, it's true. I wear a bra twenty-three hours a day, sometimes more.

When I first graduated to training bras a million years ago, my mother taught me to take my bra off at bedtime to let my breasts air out. I thought that was strange, but I continued taking my bra off at bedtime until I was in my late twenties.

One night, I found myself too exhausted to remove my bra before bed. I fell onto the mattress and was asleep before my head hit the pillow. When I woke up, I realized my breasts were in the exact same spot they were the night before. Typically, I'd wake up with my breasts sliding into my armpits.

This was a new sensation, and I liked it.

For me, the worst part about taking off my bra at night was the awkward part of the morning between getting out of bed and getting dressed for the day. That's when walking around with my full breasts freely swinging around the kitchen while making breakfast felt wrong.

Here's the thing. I don't think it's wrong to have breasts, and I don't think it's wrong to have your breasts bouncing around while cooking bacon and eggs. However, as a personal preference, I don't like the way it feels for me.

In the interest of fairness, I couldn't omit this: I have nothing against other people with breasts making their own decisions about those breasts. Swing and bounce your way around the house. Heck, swing and bounce your way around Walmart if you want to.

As for me, I enjoy the feeling of my breasts being secured as close to my chest as possible.

For years, I have purchased my bras several sizes too small. I struggle to put them on, and then I struggle to push and pull my unruly breasts into place until they are cradled as if by iron hands. Only once I get my breasts under control, am I content.

I enjoy a good minimizer bra, but I haven't been able to find one that combined comfort, coverage, and compression in quite some time. So I make do with my disproportionately small brassieres and keep them on unless I'm in the shower, hence why I say I wear a bra twenty-three hours per day or more depending on how long I spend in the shower.

As soon as I'm out of the shower, the first thing I do is towel dry from the waist up and put on a fresh, clean bra even while dripping wet from the waist down. I've even worn a bra in the bathtub, more than once, because I didn't want my breasts to get in the way of my reading in the tub.

I realize I may be an outlier when it comes to my love of wearing a bra around the clock, and that's okay. What do you think? Do you enjoy wearing a bra, or do you remove your upper undergarments at the first available chance? Comments are welcome.
