You want a better life that could only be solved by getting rid of those limiting beliefs or at least keeping them at bay. A lot of us right now are working towards our New Year's resolutions, but many of us may be hit with limiting beliefs along the way.

Limiting beliefs can prevent you from doing several things. Whether that is: not taking the steps to completely change your eating habits or not taking the steps to be happier with your mental health; Limiting beliefs can hinder your progress in life.

I wanted to talk about four things you could do to identify and weaken those limiting beliefs:

  • The first thing is to list out your limiting beliefs: Listing out your limiting beliefs helps you gain a visual of what's going on in your head. This can help you identify and tackle the problem.
  • The second thing is to take small actions towards your goals: Taking small actions to develop new habits has been scientifically proven to work. Think about starting a habit for 5 minutes a day.
  • The third thing is to celebrate your small wins: Celebrating and acknowledging small wins can make you more likely to repeat a good habit. Maybe after a 5-minute meditation, you can watch your favorite YouTube video or listen to your favorite song.
  • The fourth and final thing is to focus on the journey, not the end goal: Focusing on the progress made toward a goal can increase motivation and commitment toward that goal.

Your limiting beliefs don't have to be the end of your resolutions or your dreams. Start Small.
