It's just an excuse people make to not do anything.

Even lottery winners aren't lucky.

In most cases, they had to spend over $10,000 in lottery tickets.

That's not luck.

That's dogged persistence.

If you do something for long enough, "luck" is inevitable.

You're literally creating the conditions for success to occur.

None

But the truth is, luck doesn't exist.

And frankly, believing it does will destroy you.

If you go around thinking everyone else is lucky except for you, you're going to become a very bitter little boy.

Assuming that people who have more than you are lucky and that you're unlucky is a toxi way to engage with life.

In most cases, we earn our circumstances.

If you're not happy with where you are right now, there's no one else to blame but yourself.

If someone else is living it up, drinking mojitos in Mexico and having the time of their life, they did something to get there.

Their situation didn't just fall out of the sky.

Prosperity didn't land in their lap.

They made it happen.

The universe is governed by the law of cause and effect.

Everything you do, every action you take, will lead you to a certain outcome.

If you spend your entire existence sitting in front of a television screen, it's no surprise you're not living the life of a millionaire.

Why?

Because you're not doing the things that will make you a millionaire.

Contrastingly, if you work everyday (like the lottery winner) your chances of hitting the jackpot are much higher.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not telling you to try and win the lottery.

But the point remains.

The more you do something, the more likely you'll be to succeed.

None

That's why this notion of luck is completely ridiculous.

To believe that you aren't capable of creating your own luck is actively choosing to live like a victim.

It's choosing to relinquish all agency and responsibility in favour of becoming a creature of circumstance.

And if you have an ounce of ambition in your body, you'll know that living like this leads nowhere but down.

By seeing everyone in positions of prosperity as lucky, you're blinding yourself to the truth.

None

You didn't see the hard work it took to get there.

You didn't see the quiet nights of desperation they had to endure.

You don't see the suffering.

You don't see the struggle.

All you see is the end result.

And yet you have the audacity to call their achievements luck.F

From now on, that word is eradicated from your vocabulary.

There's no such thing as luck.

The universe rewards the bold and the brave.

It eats up the immobile and the passive.

If you want to live a life of success and excellence, you need to abandon the myth of luck.

Start focusing on productive inputs and I guarantee you'll get your desired outputs.
