I was called adorable.

Part of me didn't know how to react, so I did the only thing any normal human being could do: I laughed it off.

Let me give you a little more context.

In an effort to reach my goal of being on more podcasts this year I've been automating my podcast pitching.

And well, it's been working.

So here I am, doing an introduction call to see if I'm a good fit for X person's podcast (we were).

And then I decided to prompt the question: What made you decide to have me on your podcast?

Their face got red with embarrassment.

They admitted that their virtual assistant reviews their guest bookings and the note that their assistant mentioned for my profile was that I was adorable.

And well, I truly can't disagree with them.

Because if they hadn't picked my profile for being adorable then I wouldn't have had the opportunity to be a guest on a podcast show with an audience reach of hundreds of thousands of entrepreneurs.

The lesson so far: Being adorable + having the business brains might work in your favor :)
