The Myth of Modern Day Lightworkers

I see a world full of so called lightworkers. Lightworkers who busy their days with yoga and meditation alone, slapping smiley faces over their truths. And maybe that works for the type of hurts that don't cut too deep. But the world is bleeding, and it will take more than fairy dust and smiles to heal the type of cuts we have endured.

Lightworkers who only want to dance and play in the light and high vibrations, pretending as if the darkness doesn't exist. Thinking that this alone can heal the world as they hide from these truths, their truths.

Their eyes too timid and afraid to look at the darkness and see it for what it is. Their hands too shaky to hold it firm and guide it back to the light even as it bucks, tremors, and resists.

How can you hope to heal the darkness in the world, when you can't even stand to look at it?

When you can't see that it is just a mangled mass of energetic pain, loss, and grief. When you know but lack understanding in the ways in which pain and grief can transform into anger, rage, and hate, but see it still as just the pain and suffering it is.

Sometimes the mass of this energy becomes so big it creates its own gravity, and in this way, it consumes and devours everything that comes close to it, just like a black hole.

It just wants to destroy that which is beautiful because beauty doesn't feel real in the world it came from, and it believes that destroying and consuming it will make it feel whole and less alone in its suffering.

When we can see the darkness as it truly is, as the hurt it is, then and only then can we hold a space of healing love for it.

The Truth About Healing with Lightwork

Shamans have always understood that to heal with the light they had to work in the dark. These ancient healers knew that you have to be willing to descend into the darkness of others, face it, and hold its hand to guide it out. Masterfully balancing and working with the light and the dark, the high and low energies.

Only then can we look it in the eye and say I see you as you truly are and not as what you have become. And just as you became what you are, you can unbecome it, by moving towards the light. For the light has always been waiting for you. Ready to forgive. Unbounded in its love, always knowing the truth of your suffering, and your potential.

You have been lost in this state for how long? How long have you gone without the love you so crave? This mad consumption consumes only you.

Do you not see it cannot be filled? That here in the darkness and in being one with it, you will always feel what you feel now. It is an eternal trap and yours is the burden of breaking free. But you are not alone. I am here with you now and I will endure this darkness for your sake. Together we shall see you back to the light.

The darkness was always meant to be cold and lonely. For it was always intended to be one of the pathways back to the light. You see, you are not lost. You never were. Your path was always meant to be different, for you have a different purpose, but you must move through this place and this suffering to see it.

And the light waits for you still.

You are never so lost, that the light cannot reach you. It has been waiting for you to see this truth. Come back to feel the warmth of the lights love. Let it fill the voids and cracks you are so desperate to no longer feel. Let it embrace you, wash you clean, and make you whole. Feel the light enter you now, feel its warmth. Feel its love. You have been in the darkness too long. It is time for you to come home now.

This is the way of healing the darkness. This is the true path a lightworker must traverse while carrying love and understanding for the darkness, if they ever hope to help set it free and bring it back to the light.
