We recently experienced downtime due to a trademark infringement complaint filed by Bolster Inc. on behalf of Canva.
The complaint alleged that Freedium was using Canva's registered logos and trademarks without authorization.
Important Clarification:
• Freedium has never used, displayed, or claimed affiliation with Canva's logos or trademarks
• Freedium is an independent platform dedicated to breaking Medium's paywall
• We have no connection whatsoever with Canva or any of its services
The complaint was forwarded through Cloudflare to our hosting provider, which caused temporary service disruption.
After investigation and clarification that no infringement occurred, normal service has been restored.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and appreciate your understanding.
Freedium continues to operate as an independent service focused on providing free access to quality content.
Thank you for your continued support of our mission to keep knowledge free and accessible.
