This is a complete change of pace, but I owe my readers, both in the United States and abroad, a warning about what may be taking shape. And the post below from Twitter has all the vibes of January 6. That was an insurrection; we may be heading for a second one. Or, as I like it, a continuation of that insurrection.

Before we go down this rabbit hole, the statement from Texas Governor Gregg Abbott that he is increasingly taking his state down the route of Little Rock during the Civil Rights era, especially when he narrowly lost in the Supreme Court.

So, first one tweet. It's one of many. Use as much salt as you want, but realize that the so-called patriots are looking forward to a civil war. They have been fantasizing about this for decades. 2016, they were happy, but then they started talking about it again. This accelerated in 2020, which is why we got an insurrection. Texas has STATES' RIGHTS.

The first and primary right is the right to self-defense.

And any president who tries to stop a sitting governor from protecting his state and its people, is effectively AN ENEMY OF THE STATE.

Joe Biden is such an enemy.

He must be removed from office BEFORE his term ends.

Because he does not deserve to leave office in victory:

Add to this the refusal of the GOP to deal with the border. They got everything, but Donald Trump gave orders not to do a thing because that would kill his campaign.

So, let's go down that rabbit hole. Remember to keep your line well anchored and not lose your traction. These rabbit holes get stinky and slimy. It's just an example of what these so-called patriots want. And, like January 6, we have to take them seriously.

The first is 4chan. An oldie but a goodie. This is one of the two places where a lot of planning was done outside of Facebook and Breitbart. It's a complete sewer. However, they are already talking of civil war. The caveats are funny, by the way. But I get it. If this fails, plausible deniability matters.

If this was one place, sure, they always rant about civil war. So, I went on a rabbit hole-hunting expedition. Trust me, this is the first time I have done this because these places require a similar level of effort as Telegram. At least these are in English. There is a benefit to this.

So first, God Like Productions. This is a funny place where all kinds of conspiracies are elevated, like every day of the week. Area 51, vaccine conspiracies, time travel (yes, John Titor is back in the mix, supposedly time travelers who warned us of precisely this).

But on the road to January 6 it was also a place to keep an eye for the fun organizing towards the well known events of that day. So here is a lovely screencap: use reasonable amounts of salt. There is no way the rumors can be confirmed. However, note the whole thing confirms a tweet, yes, Twitter is part of this too.

Then there is Gab Social. They are having a more mature discussion on what all this could mean.

Why does this matter? Well, a few folks in the Kremlin have some rather expensive champagne in the fridge. Yes, there are Russian paws on this. It's not like they started it. But they have used trolls on social media to widen those gaps.

Now, you will ask a critical question. Why is our major media not reporting any of this? Let me use the correct term. This needs to be reportable for many media companies, like the posts on the way to January 6. I doubt they even monitor these sites or take them that seriously. They did for a hot minute after January 6. Why? Well, this is the more usual fare on these sites. This particular lovely is from God Like Productions:

Remember, he and several other complicit governors are starting this fight while the rest of the southern border is WIDE OPEN.

They will film white people killing or hurting brown women and children attempting to cross. It will happen even if the honest people who fell for this bait don't do it, because fed stagers will participate in the show. This, my friends, is how bankers fund both sides of a war.

So many people fell for the EXACT SAME TRAP in the Civil War, and that was started by a SCOTUS decision too.

Yup, conspiracy, with a good dollop of antisemitism. Incidentally, I miss the days I had to go to these places to find them. These days, it's pretty standard fare on Twitter, too.

But after seeing multiple governors join Texas, it went from the background noise to shades of an insurrection. And, if they do this, it is insurrection. Now, the ball is in the White House. Because they will, unlike our media, have to deal with this. And states continue to join. The map is as of 14:15 PST.

When they do, if things get a tad ugly, you are better equipped to understand this. While this could be a Fort Sumpter moment…the Patriots believe that. Ergo, we should take them very seriously. However, this will likely end with a whimper, or I hope this is the case. And never, ever underestimate the Russian puppeteer behind the curtain.
